Silverdale Baptist Students Visit on Field Trip
Bob is a high school science teacher in Chattanooga, and at the start of the school year was looking for interesting and educational field trip opportunities for his engineering students. He discovered ASI’s website just as the 2018/2019 school year got started. After speaking with us, he agreed to bring his class of engineering students to be ASI’s very first field trip group in October 2018. Bob and his colleague were very impressed with ASI’s presentation (“The Technology Behind the Adventures”), designed to inspire the students with real world stories of engineering in action. And of course the students had fun trying out the gear they’d learned about. A good time was had by all!
Side note: since then, Bob’s colleague who runs a coding class also brought his group in for a custom presentation on Coding Innovation, ASI has visited the school campus for a demo day with some of our gear, and a summer camp counselor at the school has signed up her class for another event!
Did you know: ASI currently has programs available for groups of 5 to 15 students. Current topics: Innovation and Coding, Innovative Entrepreneurs, and The Technology Behind the Adventures. Or ask us about customizing content for your group.
