The Swincar tandem in the U.S.A.

If you haven’t been on a driving tour with us, this is a great time to book an excursion and get out of the house. Our new Swincar Tandem back country tour is a fun and exciting new way to explore nature. Totally silent, powerful and nimble, the Swincar has set a new standard for off-road driving capabilities.  We expect to start our tours up in late May, once our partner  is able to re-open their trails.  Come drive one for yourself, or take a tour as the passenger in our new Tandem!

  We had a lot of fun unboxing it – check the video below!   Lead Adventure Guides Clark Dunn and Madison Dunlap test drive our new Tandem Swincar in the U.S.A., it arrived in mid-March to Chattanooga, TN. This impressive vehicle got a lot of attention before we had to close our tours for Covid-19, and already made its first trail ride with touring guests (huge grins from the 14 year old passenger!).

  • The Swincar e-Spider is an all-terrain electric vehicle that is designed to keep the driver upright through even the toughest terrain and is nearly impossible to flip.
  • It can climb steep hills effortlessly and give riders and off-road experience like nothing before.

It’s nearly impossible to flip over in this spider-like vehicle. Swincar e-Spider is an all-terrain electric vehicle. Its design is based on a pendulum.

Four independent suspension systems keep the driver vertical at all times. The legs are constantly correcting themselves. It claims a battery life of up to four hours on hilly terrain. And has a top speed of 18 mph. Get ready for a wild ride.

We had the First Swincar tandem Sale in the USA. Bill Helman, known by many as the “WooFDriver”, is an animal advocate and outdoorsman who has devoted his life to dogs.  Bill has owned huskies for two decades and has developed his own brand of Urban Mushing, incorporating specialized equipment, one-of-a-kind bikes, and his own sense of fun. He calls this “WooFDriving.” 

Bill has developed a range of vehicles for Urban Mushing but needed something that would enable him to take another person along with him and his dogs on their adventures. He has previously used a variety of electric recumbent bicycles but also found that they were not capable enough on difficult terrain.

Enter Swincar! We are proud to announce we have delivered to Bill the first Swincar Tandem in the USA, and can’t wait to see how he puts it to great use with his huskies.

The Swincar electric off-road vehicle can now be charged with Solar Panels!  This October, a customer driving a production vehicle equipped with mobile solar panels crossed a desert using 100% solar energy: a 500 miles, 12 days of “off-the grid down under” adventure …Swincar goes solar! 

The Simpson Desert is located in a uninhabited part of Australia, and covers an area of more than 100,000 square miles. ​Its extreme desert climate makes living (and driving!) conditions particularly difficult.

Take a look at the innovative solar charging panels used to re-charge the vehicle.  This adaptation really makes the Swincar fully autonomous – no searching for electric outlets to power up!

WUTC 88.1 is a public radio station in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in the United States. Since going on the air in 1979, it has been owned and operated by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The station is a member of National Public Radio, Public Radio International, and American Public Media, and broadcasts a variety of modern music, including alternative, rock and related genres. WUTC has a broadcast radius of approximately 100+ miles over four states, except to the west, being limited by Monteagle Mountain. WUTC began streaming its broadcast online in July 2002. In May 2006, WUTC became the first Chattanooga radio station to simulcast its broadcast in HD Radio format.
